Yesterday afternoon a 1 year old reddish-orange tabby adopted our household. We nicknamed him “Fred” as a conjunction of “Fran”, our 84 year old matriarch, and “Red”, his original name at the Whidbey Animal Improvement Foundation (WAIF) where he last resided.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, Fred didn’t waste time hiding in his carry home box. He quickly sized up the territory, and established his domination of all other inhabitants. To Fred, our 4 level geodesic dome is a giant habitrail with servants. I for one, welcome our new feline overlord.<\/p>\n
