\nAt 7:30am I began the descent from the alburgue at about 1335 meters.  I was above the morning clouds.

\nIn Galicia, we share the Camino with the cattle and there’s never any question as to who has precedence. <\/p>\n

Also, the distance from farm to table is measured in meters.  The bovine carbon cycle lingers in the air. 
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nRrrr<\/em><\/b>ienr (pronounced with a roll of the tongue) is a friendly German pilgrim on a mission.  He didn’t waste any time introducing himself and telling me why he is walking.  He has a friend back in Cologne that just had a brain tumor removed and is going through a long slow recovery.  Reiner sends his friend a postcard every few days.  Recently he met another pilgrim, Mathew, that also had a brain tumor removed 5 years ago.  So Mathew sent a postcard of encouragement to Riener’s friend as well.  Reiner believes things happen for a reason and that it wasn’t an accident that he met Mathew.  His whole Camino is a sacred journey, a pilgrimage. <\/p>\n

It’s refreshing to meet a true “pilgrim ” and not just another “Camino Tourist” like myself. <\/p>\n
